About McCandless
Mac's Art evokes the raw beauty and magic of Mother Nature's daily gifts to humanity. His adventurous life and artistic journey now finds him channeling the spiritual energy of Taos and Northern New Mexico. McCandless combines a variety of mediums in his creative process. Utilizing aerosols, acrylics, hardwoods and more he creates colorful, intricate wood creatures, layered, multi-media ensembles, and eye-striking canvases large and small, “soaking with Southwestern Soul”.
Having exhibited from California to Mexico, to Alaska, to Texas, he now proudly shows at Jezebel Gallery in Madrid, NM as well as AMMANN Gallery, in the John Dunn Shops of Taos, and the Blinking Crow Local Artist’s Co-Op, on Bent Street, in Taos, NM.
